Jeremy Zufall Roaring Knob Dirt Track Race Results October 19, 2012

Results from this past weekend dirt track FASTRAK racing at Roaring Knob:

Qualifying and Heat races were Friday night. Jeremy finished 6th in the 3rd heat, missing the transfer spot to the A main by one. After a rain out Saturday, when racing resumed on Sunday, he won the 2nd B Main from the pole to transfer to the A main. This put him starting 21st, only to have a short night by getting hit and causing the steering rack to break in the car. This ended the night with a 23rd place finish. Jeremy won the B Main and made the A Feature!

Friday night Jeremy got started with qualifying and four drivers were able to lower Max Blair’s previous track record of 16.897 set at the last Tour event on September 28 led by Will Thomas with a new standard of 16.631! Thomas also won the first heat race in addition to Pegher, Blair, and Flinner, who also all had laps faster than the previous standard. B main winners on Sunday were Brian Knowles and Jeremy Zufall.

B Main #2 (8 laps/Top 2 transfer to A): 1. Jeremy Zufall 2. K.C. Burdette 3. Ryan Montgomery 4. Toby Massie 5. Ron Smithley 6. Scott Chenowetch 7. J.T. Baird-DNS

Rain Rain Go Away. Muddy Dirt Tracks!

Nothing interesting to post lately because of all the rain.  When dirt tracks get wet, the dirt track auto races get canceled.  Lately, the last few races were canceled, including Jeremy's JOY night and autograph night at Dog Hollow Raceway.  Jeremy raced his dad's Charger last night at Roaring Knob.  More to come on that one.  Hopefully, see you on the dirt track soon!

Jeremy Zufall Dog Hollow Race Results July 6th 2012

Another interesting night at Dog Hollow as Jeremy finishes 5th in the rained out make up Feature.  Here are the results from Dog Hollow's website:

Stoystown Auto Wreckers FASTRAK Late Models Make Up Feature from June 29 (15):  Mike Laughard, Joe Moyer, John Eckenrod, Tim Snare, Jr., Jeremy Zufall, Jeremy Shaffer, Joey Petyak, John Mazey, Butch Moyer, Ed Kline, Wes McKeel, Rich Logan, Andrew Satterlee, DNS:  Bernie Whiteford, and Howdy Eckenrod.

Jeremy started in the 4th place position, but then he spun out and had to go to the end of the line.  He made a great come back though, driving aggressively and winding up in 5th place.

In the regular feature for the night, a couple of cars sandwiched him in and one in front of him wrecked.  That was a problem as his car was pretty badly damaged (the shell was at least).  He left the track and it didn't look like he was going to make it back out onto the track.  As we started to walk away we heard the roar of his engines making his way back on the track just as the race started again.  He passed a few cars but wasn't able to make up much more ground then that.  You can see the pics here of the damage that was done to his Late Model.  We're glad that no one was hurt as a result of the crashes though.

Jeremy Zufall Race Results Dog Hollow June 30 2012

Dirt Track Auto Racing Results From Joy Manufacturing Company:  June 30 results from Dog Hollow Speedway:
Good job Jeremy.  Jeremy Zufall took 2nd in the 8 lap Heat Race at Dog Hollow.  After the redraw, he was shown on the board starting 5th in feature but got moved to 4th, due to some issues with the 2 car. He got out on the track, but mother nature had other plans. The rain and lighting took everyone to the pits for a rain out.  Double features will be next Fri at Dog Hollow Speedway.  See you on the dirt track July 6, 2012.

Dirt Track Auto Racers - Need the Best Golfing Equipment?

Just like dirt track auto racing requires equipment specifically tailored to meet the needs of each driver, golfers require the same.  The golfer's golf clubs must be tailored for the unique size and shape of the specific golfer so that professional has the best advantages over his/her competition.  For example, golf clubs basically come in standard sizes and can be chosen according to the needs of the player.  However, for those professional golfers who want to win, tailor made golf clubs will give them a greater advantage.

One way to get the advantage for a professional golfer or even the serious weekend golfer would be to try hybrid golf clubs.  There is a company who can meet all of the golfer's needs whether s/he be a professional golfer, a team player, a weekend golfer, or a golfer who just likes to play a round or two occasionally.  That company is Cleveland Golf and their entire line of golfing equipment can be found online at http://www.clevelandgolf.com

It is well worth your time to check out what they have to offer as they have a great selection and the prices are definitely competitive.  Remember, just like the dirt track racer who wants to win, finding the winning equipment in golf is just as important.

Jeremy Won His Heat Race at Roaring Knob June 2, 2011

We knew he could do it.  Jeremy finished first in his heat race at Roaring Knob Speedway in Markleysburg on Saturday June 2, 2011.  We all had high hopes for the feature event.  He started out great for the first lap or two, holding his own, when all of a sudden he started to slow down, falling behind rapidly.  He came to a complete stop as the caution flag went out.  Hopes were dashed.  Jeremy's Fastrak Late Model broke down.  It had to be towed off the track and he was out of the race having been unable to repair the car in time.  Dirt track auto racing has so many ups and downs.  Jeremy has been racing so well, but his late model still has some problems that need to be fixed and more money is needed to keep the late model well maintained.  Many of the dirt track racers in his class have money, come from money and have numerous sponsors.  For anyone starting out, be aware that it does take quite a bit of money if you want to be a serious contender on the dirt track.  For those who don't have the amount of money to maintain a late model, don't expect miracles.  You can be a great driver but if the dirt track car you are driving isn't competitive, you won't be either.

Jeremy will come back and we are hoping that his mechanical problems will be solved so he can get on the track and do what he does best.  Drive!  See you on the dirt track!

Race Results from Dog Hollow Friday May 25 2011 Jeremy Zufall

Jeremy Zufall lead for 14 laps but with so many start and stop cautions, and quite a few "friendly" bumps from his competitors, he was edged out in the end.  He kept his own and was up with the regular winners the whole race at one time even being several car lengths ahead.   His own video is uploaded on the side wall.  Enjoy.

When Dirt Track Winning Gets Dirty - A Commentary

Dirt track auto racing is fun for family and friends, but it is downright competitive and at times, downright dirty for the drivers themselves.

Last week's race results at Dog Hollow were as follows:  STOYSTOWN AUTO WRECKERS FASTRAK Late Models (22): Andrew Satterlee, Joe Martin, Dan Angelicchio, Joe Moyer, Tim Snare, Jr., Rich Logan, Jeremy Zufall, Joe Petyak, John Eckenrod, Brad Kling, Dave Padula, Jeremy Shaffer, Shane Weaver, John Mazey, Ed Kline, Mike Laughard, Josh Valenti, Wes McKeel, WL Stile, Scott Fitch, DNS: Andrew Wylie. Heats: Moyer, Angelicchio, Martin.

As you can see, Jeremy Zufall came in 7th.  He had moved from the middle of the pack starting at 13 due to a mediocre pill pull.

This week's race was different.  Jeremy pulled for 4th place in the Feature.  This was his big break by actually getting to start near the front of this regularly crowded field of dirt track auto racers.  It took him less than a few laps to pass his top three opponents, all solid, experienced dirt track racers, and maintain the lead during the majority of the race, at times, even being two to three full car lengths ahead of his competitors through numerous start and stop cautions.  At the last caution, a red flag, with only a few laps to go, Jeremy lost the lead, but not because he should have.  You can't win them all, right?  It is my opinion that Jeremy won this race but lost due to the unsportsmanlike conduct of  competitors who felt a win was justified at all costs, even if it was by using "down and dirty" methods.

The Fastrak cars who win their races or finish at the top are always under great pressure to win again the next week. Jeremy kept last weeks winning drivers in the dust and dirt during the the majority of the feature race, but at a price. The bumping, which occurred many times during the 20 lap race was just so obvious.  I thought there were rules to cover that kind of conduct, so why weren't they enforced?  During the last few laps, I was told that his car was bumped so hard that it knocked the steering wheel out of his hand, causing him to lose some control, which he regained, but not in enough time.  As a result, in the last four laps, he went from being first virtually the entire feature, and at times, several car lengths ahead, back to his original starting position of fourth place.

I know there are many factors involved in winning a dirt track race, but his fans had a reason to be hopeful.  Jeremy is an excellent driver and he proved it last night on the dirt track at Dog Hollow Speedway.  Winning by unsportsmenlike conduct isn't really a win at all.  When a driver can't win simply because they are good enough, and they have to resort to this type of conduct, what signal does that send to future wannabee dirt track racers and to the fans?  When threatened with a loss, apparently anything goes on the down, and in this case, truly dirty, dirt track.

Jeremy will be back again.  When he pulls the pills for the front spots on the track, watch out because he is going to get his break again. He deserves it.

Jeremy was and still is, in our eyes, the true winner of this race on this Friday night, May 25th at Dog Hollow.

Jeremy Zufall Dirt Track Race Results Roaring Knob Sat May 5 2012

RAINED OUT!  Spring is here for the dirt track auto racers.  One BIG, black storm cloud decided to hang right over Roaring Knob (near Ohio Pyle) and then dump a load of rain onto the track and onto the unhappy dirt track racers and crowd.  All the heat races were complete and then one feature race was completed but then they called it a night.  No rain checks though.
The results from Saturday, May 5 at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex... Jeremy started 6th in the Heat race after a bad pill draw in the Hot laps but made a nice recovery with a 4th place finish! The Feature was rained out and the make up features will take place over the next few weeks.   Jeremy's dad Jim Zufall also raced.  He spent most of the race with mud covering his faceplate.  Not the place you want to be in on the dirt track, that's for sure.
It's a fun night out for the whole family.  See you on the dirt track, hopefully the next time the sun shines.

Great First Race for Jeremy Zufall at Dog Hollow Speedway April 20, 2011

First race of the season for Jeremy Zufall was at Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown PA.  He did well in the feature, almost grabbing 3rd place, but being edged out at the last minute by two drivers closely competing with one another.  He ended up 5th but his Fastrak Late Model served him well.  With a few more adjustments and a few new tires he will be good to go for the next race at Roaring Knob next weekend.

His dad, Jim Zufall also raced in the stock car division.  He didn't win but in Jim's case, getting in his stock car and racing around the track is a win in itself.  He spends most of his time as Jeremy's pit crew along with Jeremy's uncles and mom who is his photographer.  His fans include Alexia and Ava his daughters and his wife, Sara.  His grandma, pap and other aunts and sister try to come as often as possible along with his other regular fans.

He should be getting the Joy logo in soon so that may be ready for next week.  See you on the dirt track auto racing track!

So Excited! New Motor Arrived for Jeremy's Fastrak Late Model Dirt Track Car

After months of waiting it's finally here. . . well, almost.  The new motor is in the back of the SUV.   Of course, wouldn't you know it, the winch broke and it's still sitting there as of this morning waiting for a few very strong guys to help get it out of the car.  At least it's here as the dirt track auto racing season is underway.

We will keep you updated as we can but things are looking up now that the car can be built and on the dirt track asap.

Choosing the Right Equipment is Critical in Winning on the Dirt Track and On the Greens!

Whether you are a professional dirt track auto racer making money traveling around the country or an amateur who races for the love and fun of it, the right equipment, fastrak modified car, and motor make all of the difference in your ability to outrace your competitors.  The same goes for the great sport of golf.  Many dirt track racers also love to golf.  They know how important it is to have the right golf clubs to help them perform their best.  For example, some golfers prefer hybrid golf clubs which can further aid in a better performance.  All dirt track cars are modified to suit each individual driver.  Many great competitors, whether it be in auto racing or in golfing, have a natural ability to win every time but they can't do it without having the right equipment.  This is something to keep in mind the next time you get ready to rev up your dirt track engine or put your best foot forward on the greens.  Natural ability plus the best equipment will help you get more wins each time.

When it comes to the best golfing equipment, Cleveland Golf online will give you all that you need to outperform your competition.  Whether you stick with traditional clubs designed to fit all sizes of men, women and children, or choose to go with their newest hybrid (all the rage these days), or even want or need custom designed equipment, Cleveland Golf will give you excellent advice.  They offer a wide range of products on their website so along with great customer service.

It's going to be a good year so get started right on the dirt track and then on the greens by choosing the best equipment possible to give you the winning advantage.

Dirt Track Auto Racing Season is Coming Up - Will Jeremy Race?

Dirt track auto racing season is shortly upon us in Western PA.  Jeremy is taking the first steps to get his late model fastrak series car ready, but it takes lots of money to accomplish this goal.  His car has been tucked away at the end of his garage all winter and is just screaming for attention.  Joy appears to be wanting to sponsor him again which is great, but the more sponsors the better.

If you have a small business and you'd like to be advertised on Jeremy's car, let us know through the comments and we will get in touch with you.  We are hoping that he will be on the track this year soon.

Dirt Track Auto Racers - Want Comfy Sheepskin Seat Covers?

Have you ever considered a little comfort for your dirt track auto racing car?  Ok, maybe comfy sheepskin seat covers aren't quite right for your dirt track car all the time because of all of the mud and dirt, but they do clean up real easily and they would be great for your own personal vehicle.

This is no joke.  I like comfort and I came across information on this great company that sells all kinds of sheepskin accessories, including car accessories so I thought of my dirt track auto racing friends and how something like this might benefit them.  This company sell all kinds of sheepskin products for personal use for your home and vehicles, including sheep skin steering wheel covers, seat belt covers, luxury car seat covers, comfy sheepskin gloves, sheepskin rugs and so much more.  The great thing about sheepskin is that it is easily cared for and cleans up well.  The items are machine washable so even that dirt and mud can come off easily if you do decide to get comfortable in your dirt track car.  After all, the sheep live outside and have to endure all kinds of inclement weather.  They keep warm because of their soft, fluffy wool.  Now they want to share that wool with you!  So visit their website.  You will see lots of amazing products made from sheepskin.
