Let's spread the word about dirt track auto racing all over the world! Growing up in America, I was required to take a foreign language in high school. I did. I chose French. I'm a bit older now and because I have not been required to speak French, I became part of the old adage, if you use it you don't lose it. Unfortunately, I only know a few words now and I think I would have been better off trying to keep up with it. I worked pretty hard to earn those Bs and Cs.
I was thinking in terms of a foreign language translation and dirt track auto racing. Perhaps there are people in other countries who would appreciate being able to look at this site and understand it. In light of that, I came across a great site to translate this site. Translate here. This company will translate dirt track auto racing into numerous languages applicable to many countries surrounding India. The company promises to get back to their customers within one hour most of the time and will even give you a free quote.
In today's global environment, IAFL Translation and Interpretation Services is a great find and a wonderful service for the people worldwide who would like to read about dirt track auto racing in their own language. If you are interested in reading this blog or any other document in a variety of Indian languages then you will want to contact them for a reasonable quote.

Jeremy is Making Progress on His Dirt Track Cars
Little by little, the red late model modified is getting put together. When you have the time, you don't have the money. When you have the money, you don't seem to have the time. Little things always crop up to cause a set back or two, but slow and steady will get the race car ready.
The new decals are in and they are looking pretty sharp. The car is beginning to take shape both inside and out and soon we will have some new pictures for you. Jeremy is still trying to raise funds from sponsors so he can get the best engine put in.
Jeremy can drive. He has proven that by winning numerous races in PA and MD, and he intends to win again. It's just taking a bit longer than he had hoped. Buying a house at his young age was a big responsibility, getting married and having two children to raise can put a damper on funds. That's why if you are going to dirt track race, you need to have a good funding source so you can continue on when your lifestyle changes from single and living in a garage to married and living with your family! That's not a bad thing, but for a dirt track racer with dirt in his blood, things just can't move along fast enough.

Building a Modified Dirt Track Car - Just the Frame

This is a picture of another dirt track car that Jeremy is building at the same time he is building the red car you see on this blog.
Jeremy has another racing friend who has asked Jeremy to help him with his car. The frame you see here is the beginning of a modified car that will house a $25,000 engine. It will be built to be a super late model dirt track racing car.
The car is in the beginning stages but Jeremy is making progress on this one as well. In addition, Jeremy is putting the finishing touches on his old dirt track car that you see in the blogosphere to the right of this blog. He has redone the outside and this is the car that his dad Jim hopes to race some time this year.
If it seems like Jeremy isn't making a whole lot of progress here, keep in mind that he works one and two jobs full time, has a beautiful family that he needs to spend some time with, and at the same time, has three modified dirt track cars he is building or working on. We are hoping that one of them will be ready soon to race, but even if nothing significant happens until next year, the best you can do is take one step at a time and it will still be a great accomplishment.

Getting Ready for Dirt Track Auto Racing is Hard Work
You see the picture of the red modified dirt track car here. Jeremy is putting this car together piece by piece. He is building the engine under the hood, adding parts as he can after a long day at work, changing the colors, getting the decals ready and in general getting his car in prime condition to race.
Getting the dirt track racing car ready is hard work. It requires both time and money. Parts are very expensive and when you are an every day working man, you have to do what you can when you can with what you've got.
My point is, if you have a dream, even if you don't have all of the money that you need, don't give up that dream. Maybe a sponsor or two will come along. Maybe you will win the lottery. Maybe, over time, just by doing one little thing after another, you will be successful because you didn't give up. You took bits of extra money and bits of extra time and each time you added something to your car, you were one more step closer to the finish line.
I encourage all of you who have the dream to start out as a dirt track auto racer to not give up. Get your first car, work on it when you can, put money into when you can and when it is all finished you will be proud that you did not give up. You may even find yourself on the dirt track much faster then you ever thought.

Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex

Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex is the place where we spent our Saturday night. See the next blog for what happened, but here is an aerial picture of the motorsports complex. I'll have more pics from the dirt track races to come in the future. They race the following classes at Roaring Knob: Super Late Models, Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks and V8 Chargers.
I can guarantee you that you will get covered in a fine dust if you sit near the right end of the track and the noise will be deafening at times, but that's all part of the fun of dirt track auto racing!
Come on down with the whole family! Beautiful scenery, great track, fun time.
Jeremy Finally Got to Race!
It's been almost a year since Jeremy has been able to get back on the dirt track. The picture you see here is just one of the modifieds he is building presently.
What you are seeing here is just the original shell / body of the car he bought in NY and brought home. This is the one Jeremy will be racing in the late model category, hopefully some time this year. He is making good progress. Jeremy has raced in just about every class except the late model and the super late model. His specialty in the past was the EMod.
In the meantime, Jeremy and his family are ready for the season. Jeremy's dad, Jim, will most likely be driving at some point. Jeremy's uncle Dale let him drive his car this past weekend. They take turns driving.
We spent our Saturday night at Roaring Knob Racetrack right near Ohiopyle PA. We passed Nemacolin Woodlands on our way to the track. What a beautiful ride that is. All you see are mountains and trees and rivers and lakes along the way.
The dirt track itself is in a beautiful setting. It is clean. There is a concession stand, clean facilities, reserved parking if you want it and a great seating area. Overall the whole track area is very well maintained. I will have pictures of it soon. I had never been to this track before so it was a new experience for me. It was a family event of course. Mom, dad Jeremy, Ava, me (grandma) and Jeremy's mom, dad, uncles and several close friends were there for the big event.
Jeremy was nervous because he hadn't driven for awhile. On the way to the track, there was a problem with the car he was to be racing so they didn't get to the track on time for the draw to see what order the drivers would be in. That meant he was going to have to be the last man on the track. He was.
The first heat race went ok for him. It was pretty obvious he was feeling out the track and getting used to the car. He moved from last place up four cars and it didn't look like he was putting a whole lot of effort into it. He was trying to make sure the car was right. He knew he had another chance to race.
The dust and clay dirt were heavy in the air. It was an absolutely beautiful, clear, warm night. All of the dirt track races were moving along well. No one was badly injured although a few cars suffered some repairable damage.
When it was Jeremy's turn again, he was seeded next to the last at 19 cars. He felt better having had a chance to warm up earlier. The car was in good shape, although the engine was not nearly as good as Jeremy wanted it to be, but at least he was driving. He started out slowly but then began to push his way onto the inside of the track. He went from 19th place to 12th place during the 12 laps. We all felt pretty good about that. Anytime he has ever pulled a good place in line he has done very well and moved up to the top three or four. Many times he won the races in the class he was driving in. This time though was practice for what is to come.
We all had a great night. We left covered in fine particles of clay dust. The car windshield was coated as well as the whole car. The baby was sleeping. It was a long ride home (about an hour and a half) on all of the back roads where the critters like to come out at night.
We are looking forward to more progress on Jeremy's car in the few weeks to come. Watch for more pics and possibly a video of the track and if we can get close enough to see, Jeremy's car.

Dirt Track Auto Racing-Slash The Price of Your Next Car
I'm getting a little bit off the subject of dirt track auto racing because I came across this money back guaranteed product while doing a bit of auto research. This is brand new and the price is set low right now to get the information, but it's going to go up soon.
I didn't believe it, but if you want to save lots of money on exotic cars or even on normal, everyday autos you can use to get to and from work or haul your family around, then you need to take a look at this information. It's always free to look!

More dirt track auto racing topics in the next blog. . . I was just too excited about this one to wait. You really can't use any of these to dirt track race (unless you are a millionaire who wants to modify one for the dirt track), but you can buy one with your dirt track racing winnings.
Two of Jeremy's friends (who already have their cars built and racing) have won over $80,000 already this year in their late model races. It does cost money to get to the point where you have a winning car, but it can be done.

The Frustrations of Being a Dirt Track Auto Racer
Jeremy has been busy working two jobs since he now has a little bit more responsibility. To tell the truth, he has been working on Sundays and holidays and sometimes late at night building his new modified that he bought recently in New York. The black car you see in the picture is now in the able hands of Jim Zufall, Jeremy's dad. Jim has already started to race for the year.
The fact of the matter is that dirt track auto racing is very expensive. Jeremy has the car shell, the tires and the basics, but now he needs to get an engine. The car shell itself was just under $10,000 and he is getting it ready to house the engine. He still needs to raise more money to be able to buy the engine that he really wants so he can win a few races. I'll have pictures of what he is working on soon on the blog.
The dirt track auto racing season is a fun one for the whole family so go to google, type in dirt track auto racing tracks (and the name of your city and/or state) and get a schedule so you can have some family fun watching the racers get down and dirty.

Dirt Track Auto Racing - Time to Get Serious

The dirt track car you have been seeing is gone! Sold. A new model is on it's way. Jeremy got a new baby (Ava) who is adorable and he has been playing with Ava instead of building the dirt track car in his garage. Now he's getting serious. He drove to New York and picked up his newest dirt track ride and has parked it in his garage. Ava is going to be left in the dust for several weekends while Jeremy gets serious. Having a new family tends to take up a bit of time.
Don't get me wrong. . . he has plans for his two little girls (and his big one too), and they are getting ready for dirt track racing season as well, but if he wants to get back to winning he is going to have to focus.
Very soon there will be a pic of his new ride on the blog. So please watch for it and in the meantime, here are the two reasons why he hasn't been focusing on the dirt track. Can you blame him?

Dirt Track Auto Racing Season Has Begun
Jeremy's Dirt Track Auto Racing Modified Car

Jeremy is back on the track after the birth of his daughter, Ava. Ava was recently quoted as saying, "ah goo, a goo goo" as she watched her daddy get ready for his first dirt track auto race of the season.
Jeremy is still looking to build a new car of his own after blowing up his engine last year.
He most recently drove his dad's car (as seen above as formerly Jeremy's car) and then his uncle's car at a dirt track racing event in Maryland where he finished 6th / 24 cars. He did well considering he was at the back of the pack when he started.
Dirt track auto racing costs alot of money for parts and rebuilding so, in light of the fact that he now has three beautiful girls to take care of, he is focused on driving stock cars for other people until he can get his car finished.
More races are coming up and we will provide you with more specific details. Everyone has been so busy taking care of the newest Zufall that the blog has gotten behind. That's ok though because we will catch up shortly and give you the scoop on what is going on in the dirt track auto racing world in Latrobe, PA.

Dirt Track Racing News Flash!
DIRT TRACK AUTO RACING IS ABOUT FAMILY
We are proud to announce the newest member of Jeremy's dirt track racing team. Here is baby Ava Christine with proud daddy smiling up a storm. She is a week and a half old and mom, dad, sister and baby are doing great. (of course all of the grandmas are very proud too).
Here is just one of her thousands of pictures.
The blog statistics say that people don't want to know about your family. . . they just want to know about "what's in it for me". I really don't want to believe that. I hope our readers don't mind when we brag a bit. After all, dirt track racing is about family. If you are involved in dirt track auto racing, you know just what I'm talking about.
In fact, we'd like to know about all of the little dirt track racing fans out there. Feel free to send me your new baby dirt track auto racer pictures. Email me at dirttrackcarrace@aol.com and send along an attachment and your littlest dirt track racers's name and age and I will be sure to include your newest little dirt track racer in one of our blogs!

Dirt Track Baby on The Way! News Flash!
While Jeremy is busy building a new dirt track auto racing car in his garage (a late model this time), his beautiful wife Sara and daughter Alexia are busily getting ready for the arrival of baby Ava. The littlest dirt track auto racer is now due to be born on Thursday, August 23rd if all goes as planned.
In the meantime, Jeremy has just about finished building his modified and is now working on another one, but a late model dirt car for his friend. He has the bare frame in his garage and will be building this one from the ground up.
He still hasn't heard anything about the Nascar Truck circuit and he may not for awhile, but in the meantime, he isn't letting any moss grow under his feet. He is getting ready for the dirt track season and eagerly anticipating the arrival of his littlest dirt track student. We'll keep you updated!
Don't forget to visit Jeremy's dirt track racing website. http://www.dirttrackautoracing.com
Oh yes, they are still deciding whether to dress her up in a steeler outfit or a dirt track outfit. Any suggestions from the dirt track racing fans out there?

Dirt Track Auto Racing - Baby Ava on the Way
Dirt Track Auto Racing Beauties
Dirt Track Auto Racing Beauties
In my last dirt track auto racing blog I promised I would introduce you to baby Ava. Well, meet beautiful mom and wife, Sara and baby Ava who is already kicking her way to future fame, causing joy, but causing heartburn and pains too! Mom is looking pretty darn good for being 8 months pregnant.
Meet Jeremy's daughter, beautiful 5 year old Alexia, who was also Jeremy's first spokesmodel (you can see here video by clicking here) and going to the dirt track auto racing website.
We don't know if baby Ava will be a dirt track racer like her dad, but we do know that she is already feisty and ready to go even though she still has a month left before she greets her new world.
Alexia will be starting kindergarten this fall and she is anxiously awaiting Ava's arrival. You may remember Alexia from the website where she introduces Jeremy's dirt track auto racing website to the world. Alexia was four when she made the video and is looking forward to making another one real soon.
So now you've met the immediate Zufall family. Soon you will get to meet Ava (we'll post her pic as soon as she lets us).
Thanks for visiting and we hope you and your families will become one of Jeremy's biggest dirt track auto racing fans.
This is a bit off the subject, but I found a really wierd site while reading AOL this morning. It covers alot of topics and it is called boingboing.net It's kind of a crazy site and I think it is named boing boing because just about every topic imaginable is displayed there. Not all of it is suitable for kids though but there are some weird and interesting things on it. You might want to take a look there as well, but don't forget to come back again and visit our dirt track auto racing blog!

Getting Ready for a New Dirt Track Auto Racing Season

We were finally able to get a picture of Jeremy so you can see who we are writing about. Here he is with a big smile on his face. Why does he have a big smile on his face? All you have to do is mention dirt track racing to him and that will do it.
Jeremy has another reason to smile though. . . his daughter AVA is on her way. She is due at the end of August and Jeremy is having trouble deciding whether to put a Pittsburgh Steelers Outfit on her when they bring her home from the hospital or a dirt track racing outfit. I wonder what he'll choose?
I think Jeremy was really hoping for a boy so he could teach him how to get down and dirty on the track too, but there is no reason that Ava can't go for the gold too. We may be writing a blog about her in the future!
Watch for my next blog when I will post a picture of Ava to be and her mom. They too are getting ready for a new season of dirt track auto racing.

Want to Sponsor Jeremy For Nascar Truck? Still Racing Dirt Track In the Meantime
Although Jeremy is still participating in dirt track auto racing, he is also now actively seeking sponsors to help him get started driving a Nascar Truck. As you all know, that is a very expensive proposition. It is his dream to get into Nascar and the only way to do it is to raise money.
Sponsorship isn't just a one-way proposition though. Sponsors will be getting national recognition for their participation and even more recognition each time he wins. You can visit his Sponsor House site (which is still under construction) for more information. Thanks again for visiting Jeremy's blog and websites!

Dirt Track Auto Racing or Nascar Asphalt?

Which will it be for local dirt track champ Jeremy Zufall?

What a choice. Jeremy's modified is in his garage, waiting for a few more modifications, but essentially ready to go for the season. Here it is in progress.
But now, Jeremy is pursuing his new career with a vengence. He is preparing his resume, his press release, doing research and getting ready to find sponsors. The Nascar Truck bug has bit him and he's got the fever.
You can support Jeremy by checking out his sponsor house website by clicking here. Jeremy needs sponsors as Nascar Truck racing is even more expensive then dirt track auto racing. If you want a talented guy to advertise your business and win a few races on your behalf, then please contact Jeremy asap.

From Dirt Track to Asphalt Track - Trying it Out

Dirt track auto racing is all that Jeremy has ever known. This past June weekend he was invited to try out racing a Nascar Truck on an asphalt track in North Carolina. You can see the pic to the left, #89, the Nascar Truck Jeremy is going to drive.
His first round in North Carolina went pretty well for Jeremy this past weekend. He just finished driving the Nascar Truck on an asphalt track for the first time, having to do 60 laps in total. He did well and followed the direction of his mentor who is telling him the things he must do to succeed.
He said it is "very different" then driving on the dirt track. He needs to drive again, and he still needs to get the thumbs up from the Nascar truck owner. If he does succeed and the Nascar truck owner is pleased with how he drives, then the hard part starts.
You just don't get to drive a Nascar Truck. You get to drive a Nascar Truck (usually for a $50,000 fee upfront) and then you get to promote yourself. There are all kinds of steps in between and it is a long road to haul, but the rewards can be exceptional in many ways in the end.
I'll keep you apprised of Jeremy's progress. In the meantime, don't forget to visit his website at http://www.dirttrackautoracing.com/ for more pictures and dirt track auto racing information. Who knows, maybe one of these days we'll be building a website for Nascar Racing Trucks!!!

The Dirt Track Car Has Been Rebuilt
Jeremy has been working very hard on rebuilding his dirt track car to get ready for the summer. It is now rebuilt, but, he is trying something different this week. I don't know how it will go for him but he has been asked to try out for driving a Nascar Truck in North Carolina.
He is a great dirt track auto racing driver but this weekend will tell if he can also drive a Nascar Truck for the Nascar Truck series. He figures he has nothing to lose by at least giving it a chance. It he doesn't make it, it's back to the auto dirt track. I'm sure it's in his blood and because of that, he just won't quit.
I'll keep you posted on his progress. In the meantime, he is building a site on sponsor house too and when it is completed, I'll put the information on the blog for you too. Have a great summer on the dirt track!

Dirt Track Auto Racing - He Never Gives Up
I haven't contributed to this blog for awhile. I've been in an observation mode. I am watching Jeremy and his dad Jim rebuild a new dirt track car for the new racing season.
All of last year I watched car after car engine blow up or something else go wrong. It seemed like it was time to call it quits, but no, that just won't happen if it is in your blood. It is in the Zufall family's blood.
Jeremy, his dad, his uncles, his grandfather and his father before him have been avid dirt track racing fans since what seems like forever. He has an incredible family support base with his dad, his wife, his sister, his uncles, cousins and friends. Every time it looks like Jeremy is about to throw in the towel (you can tell when he mutters under his breath), he orders some new part on Ebay or meets with his dad to see what they can do.
His new car is in the garage of his new house (the family car is in the driveway of course). He and his wife are expecting their second child due in late August and although Jeremy had plans to put the new baby under the hood, she will be dressed in pink! Hey, who says a girl can't race?
I'll keep you updated. So far the frame is painted, the body is on top of the frame and it's painted and he's adding all of the necessary parts, bit by bit. We are looking forward to an exciting racing season, win or lose. If it's in the blood, you just have to do it. That's the way it works with dirt track auto racing!!
